Which include, but are not limited to, Guatemala, Uganda, Ethiopia, Costa Rica, Kenya, Malawi, Zambia, Indonesia and India Brazil, Colombia, Honduras, El Salvador, and Nicaragua. Although it is not common knowledge; African coffees are rated amongst the best in the world. We at Espresso Concepts have always known this and therefore a large selection of our blends include African beans. It may come as a surprise, but most of the top international coffee houses (Especially the Italian ones!) use African coffees in their blends too.
Each coffee bean needs to be understood for its unique properties and roasted to its full potential (this could be anything from a light to very dark French roast) before it is expertly blended together to magnify and enhance the distinct and noble characteristics of each origin bean. Every coffee has its place; some coffees are excellent in Espresso while others make the best Filter coffee. We can guide you no matter your needs. The most important thing though is freshness. The fresher your coffee the more taste, aroma and natural oils are released in the cup. So… local is lekker…and better!
